bad day, said the wrong thing, or blown up the stove while making dinner.
Today is the day to tell the world about it. Prizes for the crowd favorite.
The reading runs from noon to 2:00 p.m. This reading is rated PG so stretch
yourself and leave the extra language at home. No cover; a hat is passed to
support the reading.

February 11th Revisited

Another fun and exciting week at the Asylum with an open reading, special
spotlight feature and an qualifying slam for the 2007 Worcester Slam team. *Jen
Mahon* was in town and took the stage for a 15 minute set that had us
wanting more. It was great to hear your voice again Jen. Following the
spotlight eight worthy poets took the stage for the slam. Five tough judges
where in the house to give us the numbers. Thanks to everyone who competed -
Johnny, Kate, Cowboy Matt, MC Spiel, Liz, Troy, Tony Brown and John Clarke.
At the end of the counting Tony Brown and Cowboy Matt finished in the top
two spots. They'll move on to the Spring Semi-finals in May.
