Pact. Shakti was created with the intention of enhancing women's sense of
belonging within the poetry community through the an unmoderated writing
circle.
Shakti meets every Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m.at the Java Hut (1073A Main
Street, Worcester). For more information please contact Sou MacMillan

Coming up on Sunday, July 22nd
Please join the Poets' Asylum this week as *Maze Forever* takes the stage as
our feature. Maze Forever has proven himself worthy of not only the title of
Marine but that of a poet, as well. A member of Charlotte's 2004 5th ranked
National Poetry slam team, he also is ranked as one of the top ten poets in
the southeastern region.
Come on down to the Java Hut, 1073A Main Street in Worcester. The sign-up
list goes up around 7:00 p.m. and the open mic will start sometime after
that. The feature follows the open mic. No cover; please bring a few bucks
for the bucket to support the feature and to buy a tasty beverage in support
of the venue.

July 15th Revisited
The results are in and the *Asylum Auction* raised a bit more the $1800 over
the course of 3 hours. Thanks to everyone who came to the reading tonight.
We couldn't have done it without you whether you contributed items for the
auction, bought one or a dozen things, threw some money in the bucket,
shared your words or simply sat back and enjoyed the spectacle. Thank you
for your continued support.
