at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Lincoln Plaza, Worcester. There is an open
mic at 7 p.m. which is followed by a featured poet. This month their feature

words.

Coming up on Sunday, July 29th
This week the Poets' Asylum is pleased to welcome members of the *2007
Cantab Slam team* to our stage. Simone Beaubien, Shira Erlichman, Brian
Ellis, and Jme are the cream of the crop at the Cantab, beating out all
competitors to represent their venue at Nationals. Tonight they get a chance
to relax a bit before heading to Austin.
Please join us at the Java Hut (1073A Main Street, Worcester). The open mic
list goes out around 7:00 p.m. and the reading starts somewhere there after.
Please bring a few bucks for the bucket; it's how we pay our features.

Poets' Asylum T-Shirt[image: 2007 T-shirt art]
As part of our fundraising efforts for the year the Poets' Asylum is
selling high-quality t-shirts with custom art by MC Spiel. The shirts are
available at the Sunday night reading for $10 each.
Visit poetsasylum.org for a larger image of the t-shirt art. Please see Bob
Gill if you are interested in purchasing one of these fine shirts. We thank
you for your continued support.

July 22nd Revisited
The open mic was happening last night with some new voices reading for the
first time, a couple of missing for too long poets returning to visit and
Ms. Hailey Jones bidding us farewell before she heads off to the midwest for
school. Our feature, Maze Forever, ran into mad traffic and had to cancel.
He's appearing at the Cantab on Wednesday and in Providence on Thursday if
you want to catch him.

The Poets' Asylum is in its fifteenth year of bringing the best in
