Coming up on Sunday, September 23rd
Please join the Asylum this week for a feature by *Ansel Appleton*. Appleton
is emerging as a fresh voice in the world of performance poetry. Likened as
"the Conor Oberst of spoken word", his delicate imagery and stripped-down
delivery has begun catching the attention of audiences across the country.
He has shared stages with Jim Carroll, Shane Koyczan, and Morris
Stegosaurus. Ansel lives in the quaint village of Montague City,
Massachusetts.
Join us at the Java Hut (1073A Main Street, Worcester). The open mic sign-up
list goes out around 7:00 p.m. and the reading starts closer to 7:30 p.m. No
cover; please throw some money in the bucket to support the feature.
