Greetings from the Poets' Asylum. Visit poetsasylum.org for the scoop on the
week in central Mass. poetry.
------------------------------
Coming up on Sunday, February 24th
This week at the Poets' Asylum *Sean Conlon* will be our feature. Already
notorious in the New England slam circuit, Conlon was named the Boston
Poetry Slam's Rookie of the Year for 2005. He has read all over the country,
touring Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, and California after performing his poetry
for only a single year. He is the author of two books, "Unfinished Work,"
and "evening.is.a.letter.to.the.heart." Sean is also the slam master for the
famous Hampshire College Slam Collective and a member of the 2008 Hampshire
College Slam team.
Please join us at The Q Cafe <http://theqma.com/> (362 Chandler Street,
Worcester). The open mic sign-up list goes out around 7:00 p.m. and the
reading starts closer to 7:30 p.m. No cover; please throw some money in the
bucket to support the feature.
