Greetings from the Poets' Asylum.
------------------------------
Coming up on Sunday, January 27th

The Asylum is pleased to welcome back to our stage the fantastic *Regie
Gibson*! Poet, songwriter, author, workshop facilitator, and educator Regie
Gibson has performed, taught, and lectured at schools, universities,
theaters and various other venues on two continents and in seven countries.
Regie is widely published in anthologies, magazines and journals, such as
Power Lines, An Anthology of Poetry along with three Pulitzer-Prize winning
poets Gwendolyn Brooks, Yosef Komunyakaa, and Lisel Mueller.

Come on down to The Q Cafe <http://theqma.com/> (362 Chandler Street,
Worcester). The open mic sign-up list goes out around 7:00 p.m. and the
reading starts closer to 7:30 p.m. No cover; please throw some money in the
bucket to support the feature. This is sure to be hot show so come on down.

January 20th Revisited

A packed house greeted our feature *Bill MacMillan* this week. Bill mixed
poetry with a Q&A session with the audience. Oddly one of the more popular
questions was about his choice in undergarments. Luckily his poetry took
center stage with a blend of older work, newer pieces and some good old W.S.
Burroughs. An excellent feature from someone we never grow tired of hearing.
Thanks Bill!
