Welcome to the newsletter from the Poets' Asylum. Even though the Asylum is
on a unplanned hiatus due to the ongoing venue issues that doesn't mean
there isn't a bunch of excellent poetry happening in the area. Come check
out one of the fun-filled events on Thursday or Friday night to get your
poetry fix.

Reading Update
The Poets' Asylum organizers sat down this past week to discuss the ongoing
licensing issues at the Q Cafe. Until an entertainment license is issued we
will be unable to hold the reading. That said it is unfair to continue
canceling features a week at a time so we have decided to hold off on any
features until after Nationals in mid-August. We will work with the features
to reschedule later in the year.
The time without features will allow us to rebuild the reading once it gets
going again and spend extra time listening to each others poetry. If you
have any questions or suggestions please drop an e-mail to webmaster @
poetsasylum.org <webmaster at poetsasylum.org>.
