Greetings from the Poets' Asylum.
------------------------------
Coming up on Sunday, March 30th

Come out to the *Poets' Asylum* tonight and hear the members of the *Hampshire
College Slam Team* as they prepare for the National College Poetry Slam.
Hampshire has a long-standing history of producing Slam Poets. You've heard
some of their voices before in our open mic and slam. Tonight Sean Conlon,
Esme Vanndrager, Charley Pope and Andy Locke will take the stage and share
with us the work that won them the honor of representing Hampshire College
in Albuquerque, NM. This will be a send-off performance as they head to NM
on April 2nd. You can check them out at
hampshireslam.com<http://www.hampshireslam.com/>
.

Please join us at The Q Cafe <http://theqma.com/> (362 Chandler Street,
Worcester). The open mic sign-up list goes out around 7:00 p.m. and the
reading starts closer to 7:30 p.m. No cover; please throw some money in the
bucket to support the feature.

New Photos in the Gallery

[image: Photo Album] <http://poetsasylum.org/photo.html>We've added some new
pictures to the Asylum photo collection. On March 25th we added photos from
four "recent" features at the Asylum - the Klute (02/03), Dave Keali'i
(02/10), Sean Conlon (02/24) and Brandon Stephien (03/23).

You can check out all of our pictures by visiting poetsasylum.org and
clicking the *Photo Gallery* button in the navigation bar.

March 23th Revisited

Denver slam poet *Brandon Stephien* was our feature this week. With youthful
exuberance he shared his well practiced words. With a focus on politics his
set was full of heavy meaning and with moments of levity. Thanks for joining
us Brandon.

The Poets' Asylum is in its fifteenth year of bringing the best in
Performance and Slam Poetry to Central Massachusetts and beyond.
